A year ago I took up #crochet to make my grandson a blanket. I've just finished this Christmas wreath for my son and his gf. Never though I'd be able to do this or even that I'd be so in to crochet, but here we are.

@secretHT1 This is exactly how it is, and managing parents expectations are another thing. My secondary announced its closure on Monday. It's complicated and distressing. The vast majority of people have no idea how bad this situation is.

Please vaccinate all school staff and early years staff, teachers, heads, TAs, admin staff, dinner staff, governors and anyone else evolved in running schools. 2 weeks time they are planning to open, Protect our school staff now!

@KrysiabKrysia @thecarolemalone At the secondary school where I work all #teachers are teaching their entire timetable on line whilst support staff supervise the vulnerable/key worker students on a rota as well as making pastoral calls. We've supplied laptops where we can too. Definitely working flat out!

@OirishPatrick @markinneswilli In a secondary school you generally teach 5 classes of 30+ students a day in a room where social distancing is impossible and for an hour at a time, with zero PPE. One local school to me has 3000 students. I am a TA, think I'd feel safer working in a supermarket.
