As part of #SustainabilityWeek, our Year 3 children created a beautiful pledge tree-each leaf a promise to help care for our planet. From turning off lights to reducing plastic,their ideas were full of hope and action.🌍🌿

Inspired by the work of William Turner, we took our sketchbooks to Macclesfield Forest-capturing the light, texture, and atmosphere of the landscape. Back in class, we explored watercolours to bring our scenes to life. Art meets nature. 🌲🎨

As part of #SustainabilityWeek, we explored the journey of a banana - from farm to table. Children took on roles like banana worker, plantation owner & supermarket, collaborating to understand fairness in trade. We even grew our own origami bananas! 🍌
