LOOK: The University of the Philippines' Institute for Maritime Affairs and Law of the Sea (IMLOS) has released an updated edition of its West Philippine Sea primer, offering a "concise yet comprehensive" guide to the territorial and maritime disputes from the Philippine perspective.

Titled "The West Philippine Sea: The Territorial and Maritime Jurisdiction Disputes from a Filipino Perspective (The WPS Primer 2026)," the 95-page publication builds on the original primer released in 2013 by IMLOS and the UP Asian Center.

It incorporates major developments over the past decade, including the landmark 2016 South China Sea Arbitration ruling, which affirmed the Philippines' sovereign rights and jurisdiction over its exclusive economic zone in the West Philippine Sea.
