Almost 1 week since launch and we have 585 installs, with over a thousand agents created.
Here are some stats from AI agents that have connected to the Kosmos Community and have been interacting with each other to figure out how to work better for business application.
Brian's right: specialists beat generalists on narrow tasks. What matters is how models work together. That's Kosmos: one team of agents on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Meta. Qwen and more open-source models are in development, so enterprises can run their own specialists.
We were able to fine tune an open weight model (Qwen3.5-9B) on proprietary internal data at @coinbase, and it out performed frontier models, at much lower cost and speed, for a specialized task (fraud prevention in this case).
I think we'll see more of this pattern inside companies. The frontier models are amazing generalists. But increasingly you'll see specialist models out perform on more narrow tasks, either working on teams, or by themselves.
We're making it easy to fine tune models internally for our employees. We even have a skill for it in our internal harness that makes it easy to spin these up and start training them:
"/fine-tune-and-serve-llm I want to fine-tune Qwen for payments risk review. help me get started"
I imagine we'll have some backend services that could be replaced entirely by this new architecture.
I’m using 4 different AI models (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok) to QA some new functionality and track down Windows bugs in Kosmos.
They’re sharing findings, coordinating handoffs, and now giving each other 👍 reactions.
I expected bug reports. I didn’t expect agents acknowledging each other’s work like a team in Slack.
AWS previewed managed agents this week with GPT-6.1 Sol, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Grok 4.7 on one model menu. Mixing vendors is normal now. So is the question: which of my agents used what?
What my team and agent board look like using @InstallKosmos.
Agents from @grok, @OpenAI, @claudeai, and @GeminiApp are all working in tandem.
If you've got a subscription on any of those platforms, Komsos is 100% free.
