In 2025, foreign direct investment in Kosovo reached over €1 billion, increasing by €238.2 million, or 30%, compared to 2024.

This reflects a faster increase in the value of goods imports relative to the growth in services exports.
📊 2025: Kosovo exported €3.9bn in services and imported €1.7bn, resulting in a positive trade balance of €2.2bn.
For every €1 exported, only €0.44 was imported—one of the strongest ratios in the region.
