Earlier today, I attended the Ekiti Mega Rally alongside Engr. Benjamin Adereti, our Deputy Governorship Candidate, and other leaders of our great party, the APC, in support of the reelection of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the Excutive Governor of Ekiti State.
The massive turnout and enthusiasm displayed by party faithful reaffirm the confidence of the people in Governor Oyebanji's leadership and the remarkable progress being recorded in Ekiti State. The rally also served as a reminder of the importance of unity, purposeful governance, and sustained commitment to the welfare of our people.
As we continue our journey towards building a more prosperous Osun State, we draw inspiration from leaders who have demonstrated competence, humility, and dedication to public service. I congratulate Governor @biodunaoyebanji on the overwhelming support he continues to enjoy and wish him continued success in his efforts to advance the development of Ekiti State.
Together, we will continue to strengthen our party, deepen democratic values, and work towards a brighter future for our people.
Islamic New Year: @OyebamijiBola Felicitates Muslim Ummah, Reassures Inclusive Governance When Elected Governor
...Calls For Fervent Prayers For Successful Poll
The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun state, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has rejoiced with Muslims in Osun, Nigeria and worldwide on the occasion of this year's Hijrah, the Islamic New Year, 1st Muharram 1448AH.
Oyebamiji reaffirmed his commitment to run an administration built on trust, confidence, accountability, transparency, probity and inclusiveness that would be accessible and beneficial to all and sundry regardless of sociopolitical affiliation and religious divides.
He called for rededication to the Will and Commandments of Allah (SAW) as requisites to good neighbourliness and citizenship as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBH) whose migration from Mecca to Medina informed the celebration.
AMBO urged Muslim faithful to dedicate the celebration for vehement prayers for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming governorship election in the state and the general elections in 2027.
Oyebamiji in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday, called on the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion of the festive period to reflect on the significance of Hijrah celebrations which includes faithfulness, piousness, religiosity, patience, tolerance and strict adherence to Islamic virtues and tenets.
AMBO extolled the commitment, resilience and patience of the citizens of the state assuring them of prosperous, highly focused, dedicated and people-centred and masses-oriented government as soon as he takes over the mantle of leadership of the state.
Oyebamiji who described the festival as a period of sober reflection urged Muslims in the state to use the occasion of this year's Hijrah celebrations to offer prayers for the state and Nigeria as Osun and the country approach next election seasons.
"Hijrah celebration is a period of sober reflection, a period of rededication and reassessment of one's deeds and steps. It is a period of genuine sacrifice, patience, tolerance, generosity and strict adherence to the Islamic virtues, will and commandments of Allah hence the need for renewed determination to serve God and humanity.
"As we celebrate this year's Hijrah, the beginning of Islamic calendar across the globe, I warmly and heartily rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Islam and I pray the Almighty Allah grant us good health and longevity of life to celebrate more on the planet earth.
"No doubt, festive celebration is significant to human existence as it serves as a period to be more closer to God in obedience to His commandments. I therefore urge the citizens of our dear state particularly the Muslim Ummah to embrace the spirit of the new year by being their brother's keeper. Let's eschew things capable of jeopardizing our common goal and embrace things capable of strengthening and repositioning our state and advancing our cause as citizens.
"As we approach next election seasons, let's pray for peaceful conduct, seamless transition and smooth ascension of a more serious, dedicated, focused and determined government that would transform our dear state and advancing our collective and individual cause.
"Our agenda is a prosperous Osun as genuinely espoused in our prosperity agenda - our intellectually crafted manifesto which serves as a pact with the good people of our state. Together with you, we are committed to rebuild and reposition Osun and place our priorities as citizens to the front burner of preference in line with the focus and plan of the founding fathers.
"To our Muslim Ummah, let celebrate with moderation, let's use the occasion for the renewal of all we do in line with the spirit of the festive. Happy celebrations!", Oyebamiji rejoiced.
Earlier today, I attended and actively participated in a crucial meeting held at the residence of our revered apex leader in Ijeshaland, Baba Kunle Odeyemi, where party stakeholders unanimously adopted Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, Hon. Oluwole Oke, and Hon. Sanya Omirin
For us, the roadmap to a prosperous Osun is clear: a stable power supply is a critical component of our agenda. It is achievable, and we will deliver it.
Yesterday, I joined our party leaders and members at the APC meeting in Ilase, Obokun LGA.
As we approach the August 15 governorship election, I emphasized the need for unity, commitment, and strong grassroots mobilization.
I urge every member to remain steadfast…
The poor state of infrastructure across Osun today is a direct reflection of the failure of the Ademola Adeleke-led administration.
Across ministries and government agencies, Osun people have continued to witness substandard projects, poor quality jobs, and infrastructure that cannot stand the test of time.
This government has failed Osun with low standards and cosmetic projects instead of meaningful development.
The PROSPERITY AGENDA of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji @OyebamijiBola (AMBO) will address this culture of poor execution and restore quality, durable, and people-oriented infrastructure when he comes on board by November this year.
I really don’t get the outrage about JAMB cutoff. Tosin pointed out the consequences the other day and everyone came for him.
If you can’t draw a straight line between the failing education system and the quality of students who graduated from that system, then I don’t know what to say to you.
Main character syndrome and inflated egos did not allow us see the bigger problem which is, when the govt continues to underfund education and examination malpractice becomes a norm, it follows that such a system cannot produce the type of workforce required to build and manage global companies. As always, it goes without saying that there are exceptions; however, the exception is not the rule!

On the flip side, every time you open Glovo or Chowdeck and place an order, na just the system you dey trust.
You go first assume say the kitchen exists. You go assume say the food was handled properly. You go assume say somebody somewhere checked even if you no dey 100% certain.
Any vendor can create a listing, upload a few appetizing pictures, and begin delivering meals from a location that has never been inspected, under a business name that has never been verified, operated by a person no one has vetted.
Food delivery gets framed as a conversation about speed and convenience. It should be a conversation about public health.
All it takes na just one contaminated meal from one unverified vendor for this to stop being a hypothetical. And when that happens, everyone will suddenly want to know how something so predictable was allowed to go this far.
Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (@OyebamijiBola), gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg) in Osun State, is a native of Irewole LGA.
Renowned for his extensive experience and competence, he is dedicated to advancing good governance and development for the people of Osun State.
We stand with AMBO.
The past few days have been truly inspiring.
Moving around different communities in Olorunda Constituency, meeting people face to face, listening to their stories, and hearing their expectations for a better future has been a reminder that leadership is really about the people.
Owolabi Yusuff Abiodun (@nextgenthinkin) has continued to spend time with residents across the constituency, from youths and elders to traders, artisans, and community stakeholders and having honest conversations about the challenges facing the people and the kind of representation they deserve.
What stands out in every visit is the desire for a leader who is available, approachable, and ready to stand with the people, not just during elections but at all times.
These community interactions have been filled with encouragement, prayers, support, and valuable ideas that will help shape a stronger and more progressive Olorunda Constituency.
For Owolabi Yusuff Abiodun, this journey is beyond politics. It is about building relationships, earning trust, and working together for the growth of every community in the constituency.
Step by step, community by community, the vision for a better Olorunda continues to grow stronger.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of participating in the Victory Walk For AMBO alongside our courageous women decampees from both Accord and PDP,drawn from all ten wards of Obokun Local Government.
This was more than a walk. It was a statement of unity, strength, and shared purpose.
My dear people of Osun,
On this International Workers’ Day, I salute the strength, resilience, and dignity of every worker who keeps our state moving forward.
Service to humanity remains the best way of life, and it is this belief that drives my desire to serve. My goal is clear, to strengthen our economy, expand opportunities, and lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth, with workers at the center of that progress.
Together, we will build an Osun where hard work is valued and rewarded.
Happy Workers’ Day.
*Workers’ Day: Obokun LGA Chairman, Engr. Maaroof Ogundipe, Hails Council Workers as Partners in Development*
The Executive Chairman of Obokun Local Government, Engr. Maaroof Ogundipe, has extended warm felicitations to council workers on the occasion of the 2026 Workers’ Day,
Wale Bolorunduro was the architect of half salaries in Osun. He worked with Rauf on the state’s economy, and things kept getting worse till 2017. Rauf dissolved them and appointed other cabinet members, bringing in Bola Oyebamiji as Commissioner for Finance on May 30, 2017 — he wasn’t part of the economic team before.
Five months later, the half salary issue was resolved and things went back to normal. Before his appointment, he was working at Osiscol. Rauf saw the excellent job he was doing there and elevated him to Commissioner for Finance to help resolve the financial crisis rocking the state then.
Wale Bolorunduro, who pioneered half salaries, is now Adeleke’s right-hand man. Around 2024, they nominated him as Board Chairman of LivingTrust Mortgage Bank, but CBN rejected him due to his bad record.
It’s funny how some people trolling APC forget that those who worked with Rauf during half salaries are now the face of Demola’s government. Now they’re blaming the person who was brought in at the last minute and fixed it.
Or did half salaries start in 2017?
