Don't criticise Jess Phillips for calling Ann Widdicombe 'a little fascist beast' back in 2010. That was then & Labour never dredge up things politicians said in the past for political expediency, do they? Besides, if you do critise her you're a misogynyst!
Afghans are over TWENTY times more likely to commit sex crimes than Brits.
I asked David Lammy to publish all sex offences data by nationality and immigration status.
After two months of stalling, he said no.
What does he not want the public to know?
I’m glad @ZiaYusufUK named and shamed people who have used vile rhetoric against Ann Widdecombe and Reform:
David Lammy
Wes Streeting
Jess Phillips
Ed Davey
Lisa Nandy
Lucy Powell
Tory Chairman
Keir Starmer
Putin murdered citizens. To compare Farage to him is disgusting.
Shout out to all trans activists sharing the blacklist of women's and gay rights organisations published by @AmnestyUK! You're demonstrating very effectively that in spite of their hasty backtrack it can be easily accessed forevermore, increasing legal liability. Thank you!❤️
While Reform MPs are busy moaning about safety, the Greens are focusing on matters which concern them more. Hannah the plumber is itching to get back in to PMQs to talk about what matters most to the British public right now 🥵 #parody
Bridget Phillipson is getting criticised for posting a snarky video in response to being sent T-shirts with 'Spiteful Class Warrior' printed on them. She should stick to talking about 'Free' Breakfast clubs, it is the answer to everything, after all!
@EssexPR It's 2026. I'm going to identify as someone on benefits and continue watering my garden. If anyone comes knocking, I will accuse them of causing me alarm and distress.
I'm not going to stand back & allow middle class misogyny to win in Clacton. They need a real working class lass in the mix who is defo not pulling a stunt! Now to crowdfund £10k. If a simple lad with a bin for a head can do it multiple times then so can I...
One can only presume that Adam Boulton will be popping on to Sky News to discuss Dermot Murnaghan's virginity, relationships & age rather than his vast successful career & achievements, following his tragic death this week. Can't wait to hear all about it.
Disgusting.
The University of Aberdeen says it is “looking into” comments made by employee Heather Herbert after she publicly celebrated the death of former MP Ann Widdecombe.
Responding to the announcement, Herbert wrote:
“Some good news for once. I hope it was an extremely painful death.”
She then added:
“I hope she was handcuffed to the bed as she screamed in agony.”
A local report says Herbert offered no apology when questioned, while the university confirmed it was examining the matter.
You can disagree with every political position Ann Widdecombe ever held. You can criticise her record, her beliefs and her words. But publicly fantasising about a 78-year-old woman being restrained and screaming in agony is not political criticism. It is grotesque.
The University of Aberdeen now needs to decide whether this conduct meets the standards it expects from somebody publicly identified as one of its employees.
And “looking into it” cannot simply become the usual holding statement until the outrage disappears.
