I happened to watch some parts of ISPR’s press briefing about the attack in the Ziarat area of Balochistan. I am impressed that Pakistan has just invented — or, better to say, discovered or detected — something for the first time. The ISPR stated that the Taliban are illegitimate. It took Pakistan over 30 years — split into two centuries — to reach the conclusion that the Taliban are illegitimate. The spokesperson also used some loaded but very professional terms. He said the attacks in Pakistan show clear sequence, coordination, command and control, logistics, and propaganda platforms. Yah Allah Khair. It seems the Taliban were taught far more than they ever needed to learn. My humble view is that Pakistan should now carry out a thorough purge and identify the ISI instructors who passed on far more knowledge and skills than these groups, particularly the Taliban - were ever supposed to acquire. This note may sound comical. I swear it is not. I can guess that it truly, truly hurts when your own proxy becomes illegitimate and turns a little rogue. I HAVE BEEN 30 YEARS AHEAD OF NUCLEAR PAKISTAN CALLING THE TALIBAN BY THEIR TRUE NAME - THE ILLIGIMATE PROXY OF THE GHQ. By the way the governor of Kandahar frequently travels to Quetta with his own armored SUV to spend time with his family there. I wonder if he is also part of the illegitimate batch ? We like the ISPR to say more. His department owe the Afghan people a lecture on history of the Taliban and their Pakistani roots.
