Ultimately there are only two paths in life: toward God and away from God. The path toward God always leads to ONE thing---Christ. The path away from God divides into millions of paths, all seeking fulfillment and meaning without the Creator and Redeemer.
Nature was my idol until I realizedโฆ why would I put my faith in nature (a tree, a crystal, a flower, etc.) when I can put my faith in the One who created nature. I was a lost sheepโฆ
Respectfully, the universe is not God.
The universe had a beginning and is constantly changing. I'm offering the idea that God is everlasting and unchanging.
A created thing can't be the eternal God. The true Creator must be the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
In the spirit of self-reflection, I wonder if in our culture, everything from the popular music, the common expressions, to our traditional food, if these elements are truly serving the best version of ourselves?
