@normaladvo81281@ScythianBro I hope it’s both but they’re not both Gaels. Ulster Scots have always spoke English or Scots and their ancestry originates in the Lowlands and Northern England. Mix of Anglo-Saxon and Brittani’s stock. Gaels were in Scottish Highlands
@PartyOfPronouns@Babygravy9@jlippincott I never said “they didn’t attack cities” retard. Just that Britain started the terror bombing of German cities before Germany retaliated
@anglopjdst@cvmonakow TFR was insanely high in some of the English colonies as well. New England basically started with 20,000 settlers and 150 years later was approaching 1 million people. This is even with King Phillips war which killed a huge part of the population
@FortressLugh East Germany and Austria also having a Slavic component
Overall like a 55% Germanic, 40% Celtic and 5% Slavic split seems about right with the Slavic being extremely regional
@FortressLugh I’m not aware of a nationwide study of Germany. Which are you referring to?
Most things I’ve seen show North Germany overwhelmingly Germanic. Middle Germany slightly more Germanic and South Germany, Austria and Swiss Germans slightly more Celtic
