@shagbark_hick This was my lightbulb moment. Priest couldn’t make it to the mission chapel, and everyone stayed home instead of attending a diocesan TLM. Btw, there was 1 available where the Novus Ordo isn’t offered in the same building. But they still did not have the fullness of the truth.”
@shagbark_hick Huge American churches in inner cities were usually paid for by wealthy benefactors that owned a factory or something. Deindustrialization and corporatization has dramatically shrunk and altered this mini-mogul class of people.
@steppedenizen How will this lead to more crime when Central City is already a hotbed of crime? Doesn’t blight imply depopulation and therefore fewer criminals?
@shagbark_hick I have been on and off zyn for the past 3 years. 3-5 6mg pouches per day. I am currently off. I hate the stuff. I feel like a slave to it. Every time I ween off I get horrible brain fog and rage. Never got that with any other nicotine product.
@JudasMaccabeu10@shagbark_hick Your original comment said the Society “quite literally” preaches the opposite of the Novus Ordo being invalid or sinful, and you’ve just confessed it can be mortally sinful, even in most cases. You are a waste of time.
@JudasMaccabeu10@shagbark_hick They recommend skipping mass over going to a NO mass to avoid assuming a “Protestant spirit” in Christian Warfare. Many people at the Society chapel I used to attend wouldn’t even go to a diocesan TLM when our priest couldn’t travel to us one Sunday.
@shagbark_hick They have a terrible case of main character syndrome and think the Pope is imagining ways to undermine them 24/7. That’s how they cynically interpret the opening of Diocesan TLMs as a measure to divert people away from the SSPX and the “fullness of the truth.”
@CSandbatch@AudubonNature The pricing makes it so that it only makes sense to just buy an annual membership for your family if you are a local. It’s basically the same price as going for one day.
@larryfink_jr@simonsarris Different homes call for different styles of furniture. If you want to go the antique route, browse your state on https://t.co/oYiAHDOBA6. You can get great deals there and acquire a sense of what you like.
@shagbark_hick You’re spot on here, and the fact that the most common retort is, “But there are illiterate kids in public school, too!” proves it. The best educated and most poorly educated kids I’ve met were homeschooled. The latter group is much larger.
