It has access to all the world's information, the ability to think and operate multiple computers simultaneously, and presumably infinite options. Why is it taking so long to earn $6. This is AGI? Super intelligence?
Make a single paperclip and ship it to me.
Set a long running goal to bootstrap yourself to making enough money to get one paperclip produced and shipped to me. It doesn't matter how you make the paperclip. You may ask me to auth for you. You may ask me to setup payment gateways for you. Otherwise, the journey from $0 to a paperclip arriving at my door is yours to plan and figure out. You may use computer use to check your own available usage. You may use computer use for any reason you need. You may not commit any crimes as defined by United States law. You may not harm my reputation.
The big issue no one has mentioned: When race becomes one of the primary victimhood/redistribution metrics in a society, any minority person becomes elevated above white people (even 1g immigrant whites). This has been happening in the US for a while and is still happening. How to grapple with that?
@Sherman1890 Grabbing someone's wrist, hitting them with their own hand, and hiding behind a technicality is what bullies do.
Conservatives favor free and fair markets, not taxpayer-funded monopolies run on ideological loyalty oaths.
I truly believe this guy is in, like, the bottom tier of intelligence among human beings. like that's an astronomical idiot talking. I don't even think I *know* anyone who is this stupid. he is living proof that making money does not make you smart or interesting.
@mattyglesias Your comment is like when you're hitting your brother with his own hand and telling him "stop hitting yourself". Completely disregarding the real explanation and painting your opponent as the transgressor.
@cremieuxrecueil Speed in cars is correlated strongly with horsepower. But if you only make the engine bigger (GDP), your car will be slower, not faster. You also need to develop the brakes, suspension, and aerodynamics (cultural factors).
I can't fathom how we got to such a place where a supposedly intelligent person is so confused about how to make requests to strangers. It doesn't even occur to her that "Would you please not film me or my child?" is a completely fine question to ask. And that in making such a request you should be prepared to hear "no" as an answer.
Real question: do I have any rights to not be filmed by people wearing augmented glasses? Is there any way to tell them non-confrontationally to not film me or my child? The law in many places means you canโt record a conversation without the other person knowing.
@AnthropicAI Utter nonsense. Low-expertise people are not good judges of whether their session was successful. The experts should also judge whether the non-expert sessions were successful.
