To say that young people today are unwilling to work for free is simply unfair. The real issue is that unpaid internships aren’t equally accessible - not everyone can afford to work for free. How can someone pay rent and bills, while studying full time and working for free?

Muffin Break, generational stereotypes like these aren’t helpful for young people trying to get their foot in the door. This isn’t an issue of williningness, in fact, internships are becoming more popular. The real issue is that not every young person can afford to work for free.
