How does post-quantum cryptography fit into Cardano’s roadmap for 2030 and beyond?

Join us on Wednesday November 4th for a TSC discussion with Input Output Research (IOR) researchers.

All welcome - please share in your networks!

SPOs!
It is time to voice your opinion on HALVING the pool saturation, and INCREASING the effect of pledge.

Looking at some recent data:
Raising k to 1000 would mean 209 pools, representing 12.5b ada total (or 60% of total active stake), become over-saturated.
At least 89 of those are "private" and can seemingly re-arrange assets trivially to a second pool. Thus, at most 123 pools are 'actually' affected and if none of them would act, they would lose 27% of staking rewards for their delegators on average.
This creates a game theoretical inefficiency where those that stake with a "good" pool, are rewarded more, theoretically driving a strong (~30% incentive) to migrate to an unsaturated pool.

Read much more facts and opinions in this document created by @Cerkoryn, @intuitionismRus, and many more behind the scenes:

THEN VOTE! There wont be a better second chance than this one, as you have to rely on DReps to make the actual decision.

Because the currently live Action is an Info Action, no votes directly change a protocol parameter. Raising k would require a Parameter Update governance action, which may or may not be submitted, with any results within this info action, at anyone’s discretion.

There are currently 2 governance actions live on-chain that require SPO votes. SPOs can build a single transaction to vote on multiple actions at once, reducing the need to repeatedly access cold keys to vote on each. The recently updated SPO Governance page can be found at below 👇️

Reduce minPoolCost to 75 ada and increase Plutus Memory Limits (Part 2) 🗳️

As we approach the end of Epoch 651, the Parameter Update action currently on-chain for voting stands at:

DRep: 52.95% / 67%
SPO: 25.68% / 51%
CC: 3 ✅️ 4⏳️

⚠️ This action expires September 1, 2026 at 21:44:51 UTC

Status: voting’s open, ~6 epochs left (expires Sep 1). Vote now. https://t.co/4xz0Eefc77

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

Cardano gov action just went live: cuts minPoolCost from 170 ADA → 75 ADA (56%), plus bumps Plutus memory limits +6–8%, finishing a 2-part 25% headroom increase for script execution.

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

Lower minPoolCost = pools can charge delegators less. More Plutus memory = smart contracts get more room to run without hitting tx/block limits.

6/ Full governance action here: https://t.co/PQfdonXP4O  Voting closes soon - July 28. Have your say now.

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

1/ The Technical Steering Committee supports the Daedalus Wallet Maintenance and Improvements 2026–2027 governance action. Daedalus is Cardano’s only full-node desktop wallet, and keeping it secure, fast, and maintained is core infrastructure work.

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

5/ The ask: 1.79M ADA over 12 months to keep this work going. Scope includes support for three upcoming hard forks (Dijkstra, Euler, and more), a DRep dashboard to make governance participation easier, and a thin CIP-30 browser extension so full-node users can safely reach DApps and DeFi.

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

Thank you to everyone who voted to support the Intersect TSC’s treasury withdrawal. With 72.84% DRep approval, the Intersect Technical Steering Committee is funded to keep driving Cardano’s technical roadmap forward. We are grateful for the trust you have placed in us.

The Overall Intersect Funding proposal covers the organisation’s wider responsibilities, including governance coordination, incident response, technical stewardship of core repositories, member services and operational support for Cardano’s evolving governance system.
Maintaining the functions that keep the network running. https://t.co/Dwf562LEY3

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

The deadline to vote on the current Intersect treasury withdrawal proposals is approaching. Voting closes on 23 July.
If you’re a DRep, now is the time to review the proposals and cast your vote on-chain.

Governance works best when decisions are informed:
Whether you’re voting Yes, No or Abstain, please take the time to read the full proposals, understand the scope, deliverables and milestones, and review the supporting rationale before casting your vote.
On-chain governance is strongest when decisions are based on evidence, not headlines.

[Intersect Technical Steering Committee @IntersectTSC]

The Intersect Technical Steering Committee Support proposal covers 12 months of technical governance support, including work across the Parameter Committee, CIP editing, the Hard Fork Working Group and independent technical review to support governance decisions.
The full proposal sets out the work packages, milestones and expected deliverables. This is the infrastructure that keeps Cardano’s governance credible. Read the full version of the proposal for details https://t.co/HvmuWo1uTW
