🚨 HUGE! RBI CRACKS DOWN ON BANK SMS CHARGES!
RBI has BARRED banks from charging customers for SMS alerts sent for:
- Compliance, Awareness, or promotional purposes 💥🇮🇳
This may lead to loss of up to ₹300 crore in fee income for large lenders🤯
Most banks were recovering costs via ₹15-18 per quarter fees.
Banks likely to absorb this or find indirect routes.
RBI also made SMS alerts for transactions ₹500 & below OPTIONAL (not mandatory).
Pro-consumer move by RBI! Thoughts?
Purchased a bed from WoodenStreet just 3 days ago, and one of its main support members has already broken during normal use. Extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the post-sale experience.
To make matters worse, the installation team behaved rudely, blamed us
with illogical excuses (like changing the bed's orientation), and refused to acknowledge what appears to be a clear manufacturing or quality issue.
As a customer, I expect accountability, not blame shifting. I request an immediate inspection and replacement under warranty.
@SupportWakefit Hello,
When is this 24 hours are gonna end @WakefitCo@SupportWakefit . Such apathy is being shown by agents who connect on call is unbelievable. The replacement order has reached in my city on 21th of this month. But you guys have guts to delay still it uptill 27th.
@WakefitCo
Extremely disappointed with my recent experience.
I ordered a Wakefit ShapeSense Orthopedic Infiniti Memory Foam Mattress (78x72x8 inches) and paid ₹26,650, but what was delivered appears to be a Wakefit Classic 6-inch mattress, clearly different....
from the product mentioned on my invoice.
This is not a minor mismatch—it is an entirely different product. As a customer, I expect Wakefit to deliver what was ordered and paid for.
I have already shared photographs and the invoice with customer support and

Beware of @Zomato's refund scam! Ordered Korean wings worth ₹145 (total bill ₹325), but didn't receive them. Complained, got only ₹101 refund. Support exec Kushi says "cap" on refunds—Zomato pockets ₹44! Is this legal under Indian consumer laws? #zomato
Here’s a punchy tweet you can post to highlight this issue:
🛑 Ordered Korean Wings for ₹145 on Zomato. Didn’t receive them. Got a refund of only ₹101. Customer support (Kushi) says there’s a “cap” & I won’t get more.
Pay ₹145, get NOTHING—Zomato keeps ₹45.
Is this legal!!
@consumerforum_@zomatocare@zomato The support people are pathetic in their attitude and can't even stand a disgruntled customer. This all started by their service. I am paying you platform fee for managing everything. And here you are looting me @zomatocare
