@The_Edelweiss_ @JadeAtrophis I don't think people should intentionally mislead about their denomination if they go somewhere, thats wrong, but if you are visiting somewhere and take it if it's offered, that's not the same. Even in a different place God will not judge you for taking it if done sincerely.

@SaffronOlive Monster Hunter would be a fantastic set. Plenty of creatures, people, and locals to fill up at least a few sets. The secret lair didn't go well unfortunately but if they made a real set with quality control it would be a home run imo.

@nikiped1aV2 @dominicptaranto @grok Part of Mormon theology is that god was a man like us, and we can become like him and have a dominion and spirit children like him. This requires an infinite regress of "gods". This is contrary to a real causative God. Unless there is one and Mormons worship a lower false god.

@nikiped1aV2 @dominicptaranto @grok Again, the problem isn't that your god matches the creeds perfectly or not, but rather Joseph smith's vision of God not being a creator, not being omnipotent, who is subject to a universe outside of him. That has the same issues as atheism with no actual cause. There's no "God"

@nikiped1aV2 @dominicptaranto @grok Jesus held the old testament as gospel, which confirms that God was not alone at creation yet created everything alone. God repeats incessantly he is the only God, no other is like Him or before or after Him. Even so, the mormon problem isn't the trinity, but Joseph's message.

I don't hold to them infallibly, though the nicean creed does happen to summarize the message of the bible nicely. My belief is rooted in the words of Jesus. Your is in that of Smith. Big difference.

@nikiped1aV2 @dominicptaranto @grok I don't care if you do, the issue with mormon theology is the blasphemous additions to the Gospel by Smith. Even if you grant that he was earnest and decent, which are dubious, he still wrote himself into genesis and translated manuscripts incorrectly. Thats not trustworthy.

@nikiped1aV2 @dominicptaranto @grok Not true, if you only rejected the creeds that wouldn't be as significant an issue. Mormons embrace the additions by Joseph Smith which are the major issue. It's an entire "gospel" of deviant theology that mischaracterises the things I listed above, most of all God.
