Part of the reason the wealth gap hasn’t changed is because of where we choose to buy our homes. We are trained to buy where it’s “safe”. Usually the suburbs. Where the market values are stagnant, or increase in small increments.
Whats the point in saying you are buying the block, if you are planning to sell it soon as you get it? You are just a middle man facilitating the same wealth transfer. You just get paid in the middle. Kinda like a “catcher”.
Lets talk solutions. Immediately buy up everything around the gentrification to protect the residents. Then find ways not to raise their rents.

Imagine us actually reversing the trend of a dollar going outside the community within 7 minutes. Dollars coming into the community every 7 minutes, that are then circulated within is the exponential growth formula.
We do not have to be offensive to other communities in the process of rebuilding ours. Other communities patronizing our businesses accelerates the closing of the wealth gap.
