Welp. That didn't last long. It looks like the anti-ad-blocking that YouTube is secretly A/B testing on some users was reverted.

Ugh. YouTube is apparently rolling out anti-ad blocking tech, and is possibly blocking my IP. Not looking forward to telling my 6 year old and MIL that there will be no more YouTube, but it's for the best. 65 second un-skippable ads on the smart TV are the worst.

I have been flooded with unsolicited progressive rage bait fundraising text messages lately. I mark them as junk and delete them and they keep coming from different numbers. I guess they need to make up the loss of the USAID money.

The enshitification of every part of my life is getting intolerable. Today YouTube is getting intolerable. 60 second un-skippable ads, interrupting my kids videos with demand to sign in and constant nagging to buy tv or sports passes. New ad-blocking.. I could go on.

... and after deleting the linked-in app on my phone, Linked-In has reverted to sending me e-mails. Looks like I might have to close my account.

So tired of annoying Linked-in notifications popping off on my phone, from people I don't know. After trying to figure out how to squelch them, I just deleted the app. I realized that I have never actually received anything positive from linked in. I finally have some peace.
