Dalmatians are named for Dalmatia, a coastal area that long ago was part of Austria.
Bathing a Dalmatian too frequently will remove the naturally dirt-repelling oils from its fur.
The Disney film used 20 adult Dalmatians to play Pongo and Perdita and 230 puppies.

The breed was once known as a dwarf spaniel and may date back as far as the thirteenth century.
The Papillon has a double coat so it does require regular bathing and brushing.
Papillon means butterfly in French. Rumours are that Marie Antoinette had a Papillon named Coco.

The Labrador is the most popular of all pedigree breeds they are versatile as family companion, service dog, guide dog as well as a working gundog.
Nails on Labradors need to be clipped at least once every two weeks

Grooming tip - When grooming, only dead hair should be removed.
