■ The medical certificate submitted to SAPS was for 22 May 2026, declaring Khan to be medically incapacitated, medically unfit, from 22 May to 30th June 2026.
■ He gets shot on 28th June
■ They go back to the Doctor on 20 August to get another certificate
■ They backdate it to say he's incapacitated until 27th June to accomodate an explanation why he was well to be in the streets late at night when he got shot.
