On Dec 18 2007, the UN general assembly recognised “the critical role and contribution of rural women, including Indigenous women, in enhancing agricultural and rural development, improving food security and eradicating rural poverty.”

Our poster is up at @WOHCongress and over the last couple of days we have had the pleasure of discussing our preliminary findings with many other delegates. Gender and community and indigenous knowledge are mostly absent from research on animal health in the region.
