THE IPSA ANNUAL MAWLID AL-NABI ﷺ program last Thursday was a great success with each class presenting inspiring talks and beautiful nashids, all focused on the greatness & beauty of Allah's Final Messenger ﷺ. The guest speaker was Maulana Yusuf Parker.
IPSA WAS VISITED by famous Turkish-Australian Islamic scholar & academic, Dr Salih Yucel, Senior Lecturer in the Center for Religious Studies at Monash University, Australia. Dr Salih is also a consultant to the Australian Intercultural Society.
OUR ULAMA-INTENSIVE COURSE WITH SHAYKH Muhammad Al-Mechry of Mauritania was a hugh success with over 90 Ulama, Imams & students of knowledge joining the class. The learned Shaykh taught a classical poem on the Shamail of the Nabi ﷺ in Arabic.

IPSA bids farewell to its oldest registered student, Boeta Abdol-Wagied Abrahams, who passed away at 84 years. Boeta Wagied was born & bred in the Bokaap & was a treasury of "Cape Malay" culture & heritage.
IPSA honoured our 4 students who participated on behalf of South Africa 🇿🇦 in the 7th International Arabic Debate Championship in Qatar 🇶🇦 earlier this year: Hafiz Abdul-Qadir Kafaar, Fazlin Davids, Sajidah Moodley & Nabeelah Essack. WELL DONE!
IPSA STUDENTS Tariq Salot & Aadam Kader have safely returned home after proudly representing South Africa at the 6th International Youth Summit in Turkiye, that was organized by the Association of Palestinian Ulama. They were there for 3 weeks.
