Y8 were working on practical experiments in class recently. Mr Robbins demonstrated how to extract copper metal from malachite (copper ore) using carbon as a reducing agent and the use of a catalyst with elephant toothpaste!

Year 9 and 10 Drama students took a trip to watch New Wolsey Theatre's Rock 'n' Roll Pantomime, Sleeping Beauty. It was hilarious and all students enjoyed the pantomime spirit; getting involved in the audience participation. Our amazing teacher Mr Kiel also got to go on stage!

Last week, the Schools, Students and Teacher Network (SSAT), hosted Student Council training to House Captains and Prefects. This training helps them to grow public speaking skills, understand their role within the council and create/share ideas to support our school community.
