#ALPHA is DISAPPOINTING and is nothing but wastage of resources. #AliaBhatt goes overboard in most of the scenes and Sharvari seems to be on vacation mode throughout.

The initial hour feels promising, but things start going downhill as soon as the female leads appear and ultimately CRASHES in the second half. #AlphaReview

Such a treat to watch Hrithik Roshan but even that cameo appears forced without any genuine context. The whole ‘female led’ USP fails as eventually its the men who lead and control everything in the film. The first half is still entertaining but the remaining half is outright poor.

The emotions do not work at all. Also, the tracks are borrowed hugely from Hollywood flicks and hence the dialogues look misplaced, along with the BGM. The limited merits are cancelled out due to Bobby Deol’s back story in the film.

Alia is clearly a misfit. Sharvari has nothing much to do. Will never understand as to why YRF made this kind of a film that too on such a massive budget. The film feels hollow and suffers from predictability.

An insult not just to spy agents, but even to travel and life insurance agents.

Weak story, poor action, and one illogical sequence after another. Alia Bhatt is simply not convincing in the role, while Sharvari is equally disappointing.

Bobby Deol delivers a decent performance, but his Haryanvi accent doesn't work. Anil Kapoor is okay. Hrithik Roshan's cameo feels completely forced.
