In this blog, our Team Leader for Error Correction, Dr. Francisco Revson Fernandes Pereira, shares insights on how we have identified a family of QEC codes that outperforms the surface code.

(2/3) These are quantum Low-Density Parity-Check (qLDPC) codes with high local or near-local connectivity on IQM Star quantum processor units for factor-10 hardware resource reduction over the surface code in a square lattice.
With this agreement, TOYO will sell our on-premises superconducting quantum computers, namely IQM Spark, a 5-qubit system, and IQM Radiance, which ranges from 20-qubit to 150-qubit for universities, research institutions, enterprises and HPC centres.
