@arabictype As someone who lives in uptown Manhattan I’m biased but I’d say it’s worth looking into uptown Manhattan! (parts of Upper West Side, w Harlem, Washington Hghts): more affordable than Bklyn, better public+green spaces, museums, easier to walk/bike

Hearing that you, the board, or salon speakers aren't paid for their work promoting TDC makes me wonder. No live events this year either. Can some $ be redirected to BIPOC memberships?

3️⃣ This year’s TypeLab has actually *expanded* in scope to become a 72-hour online event through all of June 18, 19, and 20. Planning such an event around the globe is tricky, but it fits right in with the experimental spirit of TypeLab.
