Late night case of SVC syndrome from squamous cell, unfortunately had a 12.5 French stent placed in SVC at OSH that was too short, now occluded. Relined stent with viabahn and placed kissing stents above to maintain inflow, with resolution of symptoms.
Venous stent dysfunction, including thrombosis, may occur in 62% of the patients previously treated with stent reconstruction at 5 years. Aspiration thrombectomy with FlowTriever may represent a single-session technique for restoration of thrombosed venous stents. @InariMedical
