I'm at a point in my life where I pray to keep meeting the right people. People who genuinely want the best for me, hold me in high regard, and add peace to my life.
The biggest flex to me is seeing parents from the hood that was wild back day but their kids are from the suburbs & don’t even know they parents use to be on that 😭😭😭🤏🏾 like you really gave your kids the life you never had , I respect that so much ✨
This girl said, “When I lost my spark nobody noticed, because I was still showing up for others. The only way I regained my spark was by isolating myself and limiting how I gave out my resources. People noticed that though.” And that’s really how it be
My problem is I’m brutally honest, and that’s why some people don’t like me. As an adult, I don’t lie to anyone about anything. I’m not scared of anybody, I don’t need validation, I dont wanna fit in, and I just don’t care enough to lie.
They way I shift when it comes to people & their bullshit, it would make anybody question if I ever gaf about them. It’s actually one thing I admire about myself.
Life is sooooo good when I stay to myself. No fake love, no weird energy, no arguments. I get so much more done without distractions. I’m not pulled into problems that have nothing to do with me. I’m not explaining myself to people who only hear what they want.
A bd can be bitter too. Not helping financially because y’all not on good terms. Not showing up physically. Making things harder for the mom instead of easier. Doing things halfway. Picking and choosing when he wants to help and what he wants to help with. All of that is BITTER.
If you ever met me in real life, you’d know I’m actually solid. I’m not mean, i'm not rude, and I don’t think I’m above nobody. I just don’t move to impress people or chase validation. I’m real, I stay in my lane, and I give love where it’s given. If someone don’t like me, that’s on them not my burden. I keep my energy clean and stay focused on running up a bag!
