Гунькало Віталій Ярославович народився 8 березня 1989 року в селі Старичі. Навчався у Старицькому ЗЗСО І-ІІІ ступенів імені Юрія Костіва. Після закінчення школи проходив строкову військову службу у лавах Збройних сил України. Після служби працював на різних роботах. У 2012 році Віталій одружився. У 2013 році в подружжя народилася донька Яна.
У 2017 році Віталій повернувся до військової служби та уклав контракт зі Збройними силами України. Здобув військову кваліфікацію сапера з розмінування. У 2019 році був відряджений до Калинівки Вінницької області для виконання завдань із розмінування території. Тоді ж отримав статус учасника бойових дій.
Влітку 2024 року Віталія перевели до військової частини, яка виконувала завдання на Донецькому напрямку. 2 грудня 2024 року під час виконання бойового завдання він зник безвісти. У вересні 2026 року ідентифікований по ДНК та визнаний загиблим слідчими органами.
У скорботі за Героєм залишилися мати Ольга, донька Яна та сестра Оксана.

Понад дев’ять місяців вважався зниклим безвісти: на війні загинув захисник із Кацмазова Іван Мукомел
Станіславчицька громада втратила ще одного захисника. Підтвердилася загибель жителя села Кацмазів Івана Володимировича Мукомела, 1985 року народження, який із 19 грудня 2024 року вважався зниклим безвісти.
Іван Мукомел служив мінометником у складі штурмового підрозділу військової частини А4945. Загинув 19 грудня 2024 року під час бою поблизу Макарівки Волноваського району Донецької області, захищаючи Україну.
Захисник народився та виріс у Кацмазові, навчався у місцевій школі, згодом здобув професію слюсаря у Вінниці. Після строкової служби працював на будівництві, а з 2019 року — у місцевому господарстві. У вересні 2023 року був мобілізований до лав ЗСУ.

Сільський голова разом із депутатським корпусом, виконавчим комітетом, апаратом сільської ради, старостами, жителями громади висловлюють щире співчуття рідним та близьким Захисника України.

На Семенівщину надійшла трагічна звістка. За результатами ДНК-експертизи підтверджено загибель військовослужбовця ЗСУ, жителя Семенівки Андрія Максимця, 1976 року народження.
З 7 грудня 2022 року захисник вважався зниклим безвісти. Понад три роки його рідні жили в очікуванні звістки, однак тепер стало відомо, що Андрій загинув поблизу населеного пункту Берестове Бахмутського району Донецької області.
Андрій Максимець закінчив Семенівську загальноосвітню школу №3, працював на різних деревообробних підприємствах. Рідні, друзі та земляки згадують його як добру, веселу та щиру людину.

Am 27 September 1941 – wurde in dem von Nazideutschland besetzten Kyiv ein Befehl des deutschen Kommandanten mit dem Titel „An alle Juden der Stadt Kiew“ veröffentlicht.

Den Juden wurde befohlen, die notwendigen Sachen zusammenzupacken und sich „zur Evakuierung“ an einem Sammelpunkt im Gebiet von Babyn Jar einzufinden.

Am Rande der Schlucht von Babyn Jar (Babi Jar) wurden die Opfer dann von Einheiten der SS, des SD und deutscher Polizeibataillone systematisch beraubt und ermordet.

Allein am 29. und 30. September 1941 ermordeten die deutschen Besatzer mehr als 33.000 jüdische Männer, Frauen und Kinder.

Es war eines der größten Massaker des Holocaust.

Das gleiche Babyn Jar, dass beim russischen Angriff auf Kiyv am 1. März 2022 durch russische Raketeneinschläge beschädigt wurde.

Der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj verurteilte den Angriff scharf.

Er wies darauf hin, dass Russland den Krieg mit der absurden Behauptung einer „Entnazifizierung“ rechtfertigte, während gleichzeitig historische, jüdische Gedenkorte getroffen wurden.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military reports that overnight it delivered a total of around four tons of food by drone to some 100 different locations in the occupied town of Oleshky, in the lower reaches of the Dnipro.

The town, which has been under Russian occupation since 2022, is now facing a genuine humanitarian catastrophe. Around 1,500 local residents, including some 40 children, are at an extreme risk of starvation this winter, isolated from the outside world. Russian occupying forces are both blocking any humanitarian aid from reaching the town and preventing the remaining residents from leaving despite their desperate situation.

The Russian military has also rejected Ukraine’s proposal for a ceasefire and the evacuation of civilians through an agreed humanitarian corridor.

And now, in Europe in 2026, thousands of people trapped under blockade are facing the threat of starving to death.

People in the international community, if they know about Oleshky at all, might wonder why fascist Russia indulges in such obvious evil against a seemingly random Ukrainian town under occupation by its army.

But there is method in fascist Russia's evil, and Ukrainians understand it well. Oleshky is a message to them from Putin.

First, why Oleshky? Why such savagery against this particular town - perhaps the worst case of a long-lasting siege seen yet during the full-scale war?

The town is the closest one to liberated Kherson on the other side of the Dnipro, and is a base for the Russian army to carry out its barbaric "human safari" of drone attacks on residents of the city. Largely bordered by marshland, the town is easy to cut off physically. The civilians there are being used as human shields for the Russian drone operators.

But the evil being done against Oleshky serves a more sinister purpose: Similar to the broader pattern of attacks across the southern front, the creation of unlivable conditions - cutting off electricity, gas, and running water while allowing critical infrastructure to stay ruined - is a form of psychological pressure. The resulting humanitarian catastrophe is a strategy of attrition aimed at breaking local resistance through isolation and deprivation.

But weaponizing starvation and extreme deprivation also carries a uniquely dark, historical resonance in Ukraine, which in the 1930s was subjected, under the psychopathical Soviet dictator Stalin, to the Holodomor artificial famine - an earlier attempt by Russia to erase the Ukrainian nation. By cutting off Oleshky and turning it into a zone of slow attrition, the occupying forces are thus deliberately tapping into generational trauma. It is a calculated message of total subjugation: submit entirely, or face absolute erasure and, pointedly, starvation.

It is a message from the old imperialist master, intended for the whole of Ukraine to hear.

This strategy of engineered humanitarian catastrophe isn't just a byproduct of fascist Russia's occupation; it is a primary instrument of control. It aims to break the collective will of the population by trying to convince them that further resistance will carry a cost impossible to bear.
