A Stanley Pupdate from Dog Squad (it’s long, please read):

We received both good and bad news this week.

The good news is that Stanley’s lab work came back negative for all tick-borne illnesses, which rules out an infectious disease as the cause of his orthopedic issues.

The difficult news is that despite being on anti-inflammatory medication and a broad-spectrum antibiotic, his x-rays show no improvement. Dr. Price shared that she has never seen anything quite like this in a puppy Stanley’s age.

Stanley continues to struggle with weakness along with significant inflammation and swelling in his back legs.

This isn’t something that suddenly appeared. Stanley’s hind legs haven’t seemed quite right since the day we met him at just 4 weeks old.

Stanley is being referred to the specialists at Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers - Greenville, SC so we can hopefully get some answers.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more.

Friday’s veterinary visit totaled $307.29, and we anticipate additional expenses with specialty care. If you’d like to help Stanley on his journey, every donation—no matter the size— makes a real difference and is tax-deductible.

💔HEARTBROKEN FOR THIS BONDED PAIR💔

Logan and Lola just have had no luck after arriving in the UK 💔

This is their second foster home and sadly both of their fosters have had to give up on them due to health issues 💔😔

This isn’t what we promised this gorgeous pair and as homes are harder to find for 2, I know they will again become stuck in kennels 💔💔

We have now been asked to arrange for them to be collected and returned to kennels 💔

This pair are so loving. Lola is more independent than Logan and settled very quickly into the home environment.
Logan loves being outside and needs a secure garden otherwise he will take himself off for a little walk 😂

Both love their walks; a long lasting treat or kong and do love being together.

They just deserve better and I’m praying that someone else can foster this pair as they don’t deserve to be returned to kennels again.💔💔

We have run out of time for them so a home is now needed urgently ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Today is my Gotcha Day! 11 years ago I was adopted from a small shelter. It was my home fur almost 3 years.
