🚨🔴⚪️ I’M STANDING WITH GYÖKERES.

At some point, we have to ask ourselves: what did Arsenal expect would happen?

This boy arrived with fire in his eyes, confidence in his game and the belief that he could deliver for Arsenal. He gave everything, committed himself to the project and helped us win the league.

Then suddenly, the message started changing.

He was benched from game to game. His place was constantly questioned. Arsenal were even reportedly considering him in potential swap deals.

How is a striker supposed to build confidence when the club keeps showing him that he isn’t trusted?

We told him he was the man.

Then we made him feel like he wasn’t good enough.

Now his confidence is on the floor — and we expect him to perform like nothing happened.

I’m sorry, but we have to take some responsibility.

This player gave everything to Arsenal. He surrendered a huge part of his career to come here, and instead of building him up, we have broken him down.

You cannot destroy a player’s confidence and then demand the same player suddenly produce at the highest level.

Stand with Gyökeres. Give him belief. Give him support. Give him time.

He deserves that from us. ❤️

The difference between Viktor Gyökeres and Kai Havertz is that the manager loves one.

The only reason some of you think Gyokeres is bad is because he’s bulky and isn’t aesthetically pleasing to you, while you see Havertz as some Henry regen because he’s lanky and tall. 😭

I remember how terrible Havertz was when he joined Arsenal. There was this preseason USA All-Star game where he missed basically every single kick, He couldn’t get one on target 😭 It was so bad that mainstream media were spamming the videos everywhere.

There were situations where we’d be on a counterattack, Havertz would receive the ball and pass it backwards 😭 The man was killing our attacks and looked completely out of sync with the team’s tempo and rhythm, but some of you have amnesia and you want to be doing Havertz revisionism now smh

Havertz was on 006 and on course to 007 until we gave him that pity penalty. Yet Gyökeres, who scored a hat-trick in his first two games, is the fraud? 😂 Walai, you people are insane. 😭

I also remember when Nketiah scored a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest and we barely saw him again. Arteta played Havertz in the next game and kept playing him…😂

If we are honest with ourselves if Arteta didn’t like Havertz, he would have rotted on the bench after his first few performances with us, his confidence would have been destroyed, or he probably would have even been sold by now, but he kept trusting him
That’s what players get away with when they’re the manager’s favourites.

Let me remind you what Arteta did with Havertz.

He first tried him as an 8, essentially as Xhaka’s replacement. It didn’t work.

He tried him at 10. It didn’t work.

Then he moved him to false 9.

Why?

Why didn’t he simply drop him to the bench and go back to Nketiah?

Why did he keep tweaking the system and finding different positions just to make Havertz work?

Because he wanted Havertz to WORK. At ALL COST.

Read that again.

Walai If Arteta loved Gyökeres the way he loved Havertz, Gyökeres would score 30 goals a season under him. It’s really that simple.

And it’s no secret that Mikel never wanted Viktor, so I’m honestly not surprised by what’s happening now, especially when you look at how he has handled players he clearly didn’t fancy before. Eg Auba, Laca etc

But what’s really shameful and saddening is how the fanbase, the very people who should be standing by Gyökeres, have turned on him.

When other players were rejecting us, he was the one who decided to come.
He was the one who decided he was up for the task.
He was the one courageous enough to take up the mantle.

He broke up with his girlfriend, damaged his relationship with Sporting, took a pay cut and reportedly even put his own money towards making the transfer fees happen.

If anything, BACK THE MAN.

He chose Arsenal when others didn’t. He doesn’t hurt the team, he doesn’t cause us to lose games, he helped us win the league after 22 yrs. Dnt be an ingrate
Give him patience and love (even IF you think he’s bad)
