OGP@15 & OGPNG@10: Reflect, Rethink, and Redouble Collective Efforts
We reflect on our progress, rethink our approach, and redouble our collective efforts towards a more transparent, accountable, and inclusive future.
IRIAD will continue to champion research, advocacy, and civic education that center women’s voices. We will honour mothers past and present, amplify their struggles and triumphs, and push for laws and policies that guarantee rights, justice, and action for all women and girls.
Happy Mothering Sunday to all Wonderful Mothers!
Today we celebrate the love, strength, and sacrifices of mothers everywhere. Mothers are the heart of our families and the foundation of our communities. Through their care, guidance, and resilience, they nurture values that shape a better future for all.
On this special day, we honour and appreciate every mother and mother figure for their endless dedication and unwavering love.
Thank you for all that you do.

IRIAD participated in the Solidarity March in support of the Special Seats Bill for Women held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the National Assembly. The solidarity march brought together women’s rights advocates, civil society organisations, and supporters in a collective
representation in Nigeria’s governance spaces. The push for the Special Seats Bill is about strengthening inclusive democracy and ensuring that women are not left at the margins of decision-making and building a future where policies reflect the needs of all citizens
