@CardinalWarrior -longer the same as it was before, Bruce felt the need to take up arms and help protect it.

Gently squeezing Nat's hand, he continued. "Cap is waiting for us outside, we need to head back."

[Bruce Banner. [IW] @IridescentRage]

@CardinalWarrior He takes a deep breath, before nodding. "Yeah. We can't just stick around here and wait. He's probably on his way back now."

He briefly glances around the room, trying to remember the last time he was here-- and though it seemed emptier now, that it felt like this place was no-

@CardinalWarrior It was moments like these when Bruce Banner felt stable, felt so sure that they could accomplish so much together, despite the odds. Yes, there was fear and it still took hold of him, but he had unwavering faith in Natasha.

If she says they have a future, then he believes her.

@CardinalWarrior "I love you too. So much." He whispers softly against her lips, before returning it with his kiss. He held her close to him, never wanting to let go.

Time was precious upon them, and though Bruce did not want to let go, he also knew they had to prepare. Their greatest foe has-

@CardinalWarrior "Of a lot of things, yeah." He sighs, suddenly remembering his ordeal with Thanos. "But that's our work, I guess. It's what we do too..."

He pauses for a bit, contemplating what he was going to say. "I just want you to know I'm glad I can still see you."

He gently presses a tentative kiss to the side of her head, a little hesitant, a little worried there were things they needed to work out, to talk about, but willing to show her he still cared, that he still felt the same.

[Bruce Banner. [IW] @IridescentRage]

@CardinalWarrior He sighed softly as she held him close, and he too, couldn't help the quivering on his lips as he let out a loud sigh.

"Natasha... I missed you so much, I... I... All this time, I've been so scared." He gently caresses her hair, threading his fingers through them.

"We're here-

@CardinalWarrior "Of course." He nodded, gently reaching over to unclasp the necklace, helping it off her. He takes her hand, palm faced upward, and gently places the jewelry on it.

@CardinalWarrior Bruce shrugged, touching a few locks of his hair and sighing softly. "Yeah, I've got graying hair, it's no joke..."

He met her halfway, reaching into his pocket for a gold wedding band he has kept with him all this time.

He slips it on his finger. "I missed you."

@CardinalWarrior "Hi, Nat." Bruce let out a sheepish, wry smile, raising his hand a little to wave at her.

How long has it been since they've seen each other? He takes a step forward, his hair a little unkempt, with graying temples accenting his curls. He looks into her eyes and sighs softly-
