Rise of Piracy just dropped a massive progress update: the Mayors / Captains update is officially in development, and it's the biggest thing to hit the game since release.

leaders with unique traits and skills, captains assigned to your ships and islands, a full faction overview, capturing and ransoming rival leaders... nearly every system in the game is getting touched by this one.

first pass is heading to the Test branch in a few weeks (heads up, screenshots are full of placeholder art for now).

This patch brings a new Cargo Summary to the Market screen, so you can check your fleet's cargo space at a glance before you overbuy. Plus a bunch of fixes and improvements across the campaign.

Heads up, Invert Y settings got reset and now cover Sailing, Telescope, and RTS separately, so turn it back on if you use it.
