It was an honor to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States @America250 @Freedom250 at the U.S. Residence in Dublin, Ireland earlier this month. Thank you to @USAmbIreland Edward Sharp Walsh and @IrelandEmbUSA for hosting a spectacular program! It was a highlight to see my friends Greta Mulhall and @DanMulhall, former Ireland Ambassador to the USA. @MichaelMartinTD gave remarks about the signers of the Declaration of Independence who were Irish or of Irish descent. Visited with 20 cousins in Mallow, County Cork Ireland. And, I appreciated the invitation to be the invited guest at the roundtable with @Fulbright_Eire @DaraMFitzgerald and education stakeholders. @JamesOConnorTD Cork East, appreciated the invitation to meet with you, too.

Brushed up on my aviation skills at @Ryanair’s excellent Flight Academy and even got to land a plane at JFK Airport in one of their flight simulators! Pleased to meet with Michael O’Leary and @Ryanair team to discuss aviation connectivity and the importance of transatlantic partnerships between 🇮🇪 and 🇺🇸
