🇲🇪Following today’s Intergovernmental Conference, Montenegro has now closed over half of the negotiating chapters in its EU accession path. Only 15 negotiating chapters now remain.

Irsko od července předsedá Radě Evropské unie. Na irské ambasádě jsme mluvili o prioritách, které budou v následujících měsících určovat naše společné směřování.

Potvrdili jsme, že prodloužení sankcí proti Rusku zůstává důležitým nástrojem k vyvíjení tlaku na jeho ekonomiku. Mluvili jsme také o pokroku Ukrajiny a Moldavska na jejich cestě do Unie i o očekáváních od připravované bezpečnostní strategie Evropské komise.

Před irským předsednictvím stojí řada náročných úkolů. Jedním z těch nejdůležitějších bude vyjednávání o novém víceletém rozpočtu EU.
