According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan's own experience of having part of its territory occupied confirms that this is the right position.

He also reaffirmed that Azerbaijan consistently supports Ukraine's territorial integrity.

"We have always supported, we support, and we will continue to support Ukraine's territorial integrity, its sovereignty, and the inviolability of its internationally recognized borders. The borders of no state can be changed by force or without the consent of that state's people. Our position on this issue is consistent and firm," the president said.

He added that Azerbaijan will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.

Shani Louk is one of the most well-known victims of October 7th, but do you know know her backstory? 🎗️

Shani Louk, 22, was a German-Israeli woman who was seen on footage by millions as she was abducted to the Gaza Strip during Hamas’s October 7 onslaught.

The videos — which quickly spread around the world — showed Shani lying unconscious face-down in the back of a pickup truck in Gaza filled with Palestinian gun-wielding men.

Out of all the hostages Palestinians took from Israel that day, Shani Louk's kidnapping became one of Hamas’s most well-known.

That fateful Jewish holiday in 2023, Louk was attending a rave music festival called Supernova, which Palestinians attacked with with gunfire and grenades, killing some 260 people alone.

Hundreds more were killed by Hamas terrorists in nearby villages. Hamas also took hostages. Shani was one of them.

Her family learned she was dead after a piece of skull belonging to her was found by ZAKA Rescue Services, Times of Israel reported.

Shani Louk was born on February 7th 2001 in Israel to an Israeli father and German mother, Ricarda Louk.

Louk and her family moved to Portland, Oregon, U.S., in the early 2000s, and she attended kindergarten at Portland Jewish Academy.

Louk later became a resident of Tel Aviv, where she worked as a freelance tattoo artist and also had a following as an Instagram influencer.

According to Louk's aunt, she held pacifist views and obtained an exemption from military service in Israel, which she said was facilitated by her dual citizenship.

Her boyfriend — Orión Hernández Radoux — a Mexican citizen, is almost never mentioned in stories about her, but he too was kidnapped to Gaza, and was also killed shortly after his abduction by Hamas.

We remember Shani because we cannot afford to forget🎗️
