Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc and it's yours forever.
You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.

We will not be able to freely access the movies, books, and music that we have loved. I would be a have-not. That's what I'm afraid of. This is not greed.

Eventually, even digital data will no longer be owned by individuals on their own initiative. Whenever there is a major change or accident in the world, in a country, in a government, in an idea, in a trend, access to it may suddenly be cut off.
@PlayStation Utterly unacceptable. If anything, physical media has been gaining traction in recent years, not declining. You just want control and to eliminate the resale market. You'll remove games from libraries at a whim, ban accounts when you feel like it, and ensure nobody owns anything.

@Wolf_BergEis @Wario64 I think you're spot on. Scam a few thousand in gift cards and then buy and resell some CS skins. Creates a hell of a problem for all affected parties. Like digitally washing dirty money through casino chips.
@Black_D_Gamer1@ChachaNuVaughn Yeah, those people have money in cash, not in a bank or attached to a debit card or other digital pay method.
I can do all of those things without a bank card.
You can't just declare something a "non-issue" because "most" people have an alternative payment available to them.
@Black_D_Gamer1 Putting aside the fact that I don't know a single child with a debit card and there are often refill fees...
None of these alternatives are as simple or straightforward as Cash > Card > Wallet. They're payment options that already existed and you're forced to now use instead.
@ChachaNuVaughn@Black_D_Gamer1 There's also no such thing as a "throwaway" CashApp or PayPal. All require ID verification and often a valid linked bank account. With the threats Steam has received from payment processors over certain games recently, this is a step backwards.
@Wario64 Incredible design but the price will be insane and scalped to hell.
Peak device styling really did occur in the late 90's and early 2000's. Nothing we've done since has even come close. Bring back translucent plastic for all electronics and we'll be a proper society again.
@jifferey I enjoyed it for sure. Same as you, a few gripes and unanswered questions, but overall I'll take a solid B+ over a dumpster fire ending so many series seem to be getting recently.
@SilverHaze17@Epsilon_Channel@LucyPyre_ Invested for 7 goddamn seasons just for them to take a sharp left from the source material and randomly kill of Carl, still pisses me off.
@LucyPyre_ Endings are the hardest part of storytelling. Even a mediocre writer can have a good idea and hype the shit out of rising action (every anime's first season). Following through by keeping quality high and delivering a satisfying middle & end requires skill. Most don't have it.
