I think you're in the clear with lactose intolerance, but I wouldn't completely rule it out. It could be, as someone else mentioned, that it expired. If it was the powder, moisture exposure or contamination can cause an upset stomach, nausea, or vomiting, but that's not the case here. Maybe the milk has an additive that you're not agreeing with?
