@DOughtred@BBCTeesSport It was essentially a 3 nil defeat had it not been for 2 legitimate Leeds goals being incorrectly ruled out. That tells you that we were actually nowhere near them. The Lino made the game look closer than it actually was.
@kevdodds@dan_dixon87@Boro He’s the problem. Ayling said earlier in the season that the manager takes the approach of if we lose, ok, as long as we lose on our style. That is not the mentality to build a team on. Manager needs a boot up the backside and maybe the players won’t be as passive as he his
@LivBartley14 No one has any idea what has been said or gone on behind closed doors. Footballers are people, they have emotions. Not everything is straight forward.
@Realdavebrown@GraemeBandeira@ColinG2013@Strickland__Ben@helieboro Chuba wasn’t that player when Carrick took over though was he. At that time he wasn’t good enough either apparently and it was Carrick who got a tune out of him. This talk is exactly what people were saying then & the squad, as it was when he walked in, wasn’t much better.
@GraemeBandeira@Realdavebrown@ColinG2013@Strickland__Ben@helieboro Let’s not be too over the top with how little chance we have though. Let’s not forget we started last season poorly with Wilder and the squad we have now isn’t really any worse than what we had when Carrick took over and he got a tune out of them…then strengthened more in Jan.
@trimdonsmoggie@eejayc7 Exactly. And it all came from a ball where McNair played 2 of them onside - including the guy who put the cross in. It’s just poor defending.
Awful first half there. Movement poor, passing terrible. Giving Burnley all the time in the world to get back into shape and playing aimless long balls. Hopeless. Credit to Burnley for the desire to be first to every ball but we really need to sort ourselves out. #utb#boro
