Is fat loss the same as bodybuilding? I would say yes…
Both require Diet adherence, both usually have some sort of resistance training, both require optimal sleep and stress management, both require discipline!
One is just more extreme than the other!
I had a client say “Following a strict diet was and is harder than going through rehab. The food cravings were the hardest withdrawals I’ve ever felt”
Now let that sink in just a little bit.
A calorie is a calorie. There is no such thing as a Good Calorie or a Bad Calorie. A calorie is a simple unit of measurement.
Now choosing where to get that calorie from is a different story.
You can pick Nutrient Dense Foods or Nutrient Deficient Foods.
Choose Wisely
Hypertrophy is an increase and growth of muscle cells. Hypertrophy refers to an increase in muscular size achieved through exercise. When you work out, if you want to tone or improve muscle definition, lifting weights is the most common way to increase hypertrophy.
