For generations, places of worship have been havens of faith, reflection, and healing; not arenas for political grandstanding and cheap theatrics.

Religious leaders are supposed to uplift, unite, and inspire their congregations. The pulpit should be a place where truth is spoken, not where propaganda is preached; where faith is strengthened, not where fear is manufactured. But when the likes of Gachagua and Cate Waruguru turn the altar into a stage for insults, division, and self-promotion, they don’t just disrespect the congregation, they undermine the very essence of religious teachings. It’s like walking into a hospital only to find the doctor running a betting shop instead of treating patients. Wrong place, wrong job!

Faith leaders have a moral duty to protect the sanctity of the pulpit. They cannot serve both the gospel and political noise, one must go. And that’s why Gachagua must be STOPPED and BANNED from turning Sunday sermons into campaign rallies of fear and hostility. If politicians need a stage, they can book a stadium, the church is not for hire.
