‘When we begin to sing, we sing for all things. Essentially music does not describe that which is, rather it tries to convey that which reality stands for. The universe is a score of eternal music, and we are the cry, we are the voice.’

@ryangrim You don’t care about the Iranian citizens who were murdered in January. You don’t care about Israelis. You don’t care about Palestinians. You’re in it to score points. It’ll come back on you.
@ryangrim It’s all about scoring points for you Ryan. You and all the internet pundits. You don’t care about suffering. You’re sarcastic and cruel. It’ll come back to haunt you
@Palestinia12961 Here is a poem I wrote in the first days of the Iran war. I’m not sure what if anything it accomplished. The only way forward is an agreement between our peoples. Thanks again for your honest words, your compassion, and for not giving up hope. ❤️
@atRachelGilmore I don’t really have answers. I am horrified at the loss of Palestinian life. I hate it. But there is something about Judaism that also means attachment to Israel (not the government).
@RobynUrback you might be interested in the above beautiful Heschel quote too.
@atRachelGilmore and to seek comfort for God and men. We, a people of orphans, have entered the walls to greet the widow, Jerusalem, and the widow is a bride again. She has taken hold of us, and we find ourselves again at the feet of the prophets. We are the harp, and David is playing.”
