Isaiah

[Frank Bennett @NorfolkKnights]

Kempsville 5’11 2028 Isaiah Johnson is an impact guard whose play on both ends of the floor have been key in the Chiefs success over the last two seasons. He’s quick and strong, able to move bigger bodies in the paint where he is a very good rebounder thanks to his explosive leaping ability and how quickly he gets off the floor. Isaiah hits the middle jumper at an efficient in rate and is most dangerous putting the ball on the floor and slicing up defenses working off the dribble. Attacks angles effectively thanks to his strong frame and ability to overpower defenders and get where he wants off the bounce. Isaiah is already taking college courses and carries a 3.8 GPA! He’s a highly touted baseball prospect, receiving plenty of D1 attention. Isaiah’s cousin is Baltimore Orioles outfielder Eric Booth, the number 7 player taken in the 2026 MLB Draft! His Mom starred in track in college and her first cousin is former NFL star, the late Steve McNair so he has a family of athletic and academic excellence. #BigShots #CNUTeamCamp @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal

Kempsville 6’2 2027 Cameron Garwood gives the Chiefs some length and a guy who can defend multiple positions effectively and also provide rebounding. On the offensive end he’s a threat from all areas with the jumper showcasing a smooth stroke and the ability to hit shots out of a variety of actions (pull-ups, step backs). Cam can also score it off the bounce using his rangy strides, an angle often created by a quick crossover dribble and a nice burst and he scores in traffic nicely thanks to his length and touch finishing from a variety of angles around the rim. He’s a threat as a passer as well and can fill up a stat sheet as he impacts scoring, rebounding, distributing, etc. Cam should be a valuable asset to an otherwise undersized roster given his versatility, length and motor. #BigShots #CNUTeamCamp @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal

Norfolk Collegiate 6’3 2027 Gavin Mallette has been one of the 757’s best guards over the last couple of seasons and recently picked up a Randolph College offer. A physical guard with a smooth shooting stroke he’s a threat with the jumper from all areas and does a great job using his strong frame, initiating contact to create separation for his near automatic dribble pull-up. Gavin can back his defender down or flash and post his man and score over either shoulder. Uses crafty footwork and sturdy strides to impose his will scoring in traffic and through contact as if undeterred. He’s a more than capable primary ball handler who can create for others as well. #BigShots #CNUTeamCamp @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
