The second day of the CISS in-house workshop focused on quantitative research methods, with a detailed and practical session led by Prof. Dr. Mujtaba Isani (DAAD Professor of Political Science, Quaid-e-Azam University).
The session introduced participants to the foundations of quantitative analysis in social sciences, with emphasis on research design, data handling, and empirical rigor. Prof. Isani drew on his extensive academic and professional experience to explain how quantitative tools can strengthen analytical depth in International Relations and Strategic Studies.
Participants engaged actively in discussion, gaining insights into best practices in methodology, public opinion research, and data-driven analysis relevant to South Asia and the Middle East.
