ENDGAME has always been about providing the best quality TCG accessories, alongside the best customer service available. With current community discourse revolving around sleeve brands including ourselves, we thought we’d take the opportunity to clarify a few things and reiterate our commitment to you, our valued customers.
Before we even started the company, we had sampled nearly 40 different factories that produce card sleeves/ plastic products. We wanted to find a manufacturer that made something of real quality, and until we found our current supplier, nothing was even close to the quality we were looking for. Many times we would get the sample sleeves after waiting a month, shuffle them once and then throw them away as the quality was so poor.
With our manufacturer in question, we have been able to bring a high quality sleeve that met our goals for product quality and consistency, as well as being able to create certain changes with the sleeve we wanted to bring to market. However, as some of you may know, we have had struggles with this. Last December, our sleeves were sold with manufacturing defects. We had a QC issue with tearing, and since then have added additional quality checks in the manufacturing process to ensure we can deliver a great product, with minimal defects. That month, we had hundreds of defective products that we replaced for customers at no extra charge as we wanted to make sure that no matter what; if you buy a product from us, you are guaranteed to get a product of high quality, even if your ENDGAME product is defective or damaged. We pride ourselves on this fact, and work nonstop to ensure that this aspect of our company is never compromised.
As a small business, we have only been able to test and bring to market so many products at a time, and have been working with multiple manufacturers to bring products to market as efficiently as we can, while at the same time making sure the product is something we would be happy with using. Whether it be a perfect fit sleeve, oversleeve or any other TCG accessory a player like ourselves would use. We currently work with three different manufacturers in China for our current and upcoming products and that number will inevitably grow as we add additional product lines. We have also been researching and testing the production process of certain products here in Canada for the past few months, and are excited to share more details with you about this soon.
When it comes to labeling “Designed in Canada”, we felt that due to the number of revisions we had gone through on products, including changing edge sealing processes and revising dimensions to a tenth of a millimeter in order to ensure the best possible product justified that labeling. All of that testing has been done in Canada, and we go through tons of prototype packs in that testing process. We realize now how that could misconstrue our production process, and that was not at all the intention of that label. We apologize for this, and we will look at ways to better convey that messaging in the future.
We have always been transparent about our products whether it's a defect, where it’s made, or about the usage of the product itself and continue to do so. We encourage all forms of feedback with making our products better, and our customers’ feedback directly influences the products we look to deliver that we can be proud of putting the ENDGAME label on. We look forward to continuing to provide a quality product that is backed by a quality guarantee that our customers can have faith in.
