@aravind Delhi - Thailand sector is always turbulent. Recently flew Thai airways and faced severe turbulence then too. Nothing to do with any specific airline. There can be higher levels of turbulence at times and that can result in such instances.

I've been to Colombo (its been few years)... some areas looked like this but the rest of the city looked like any Indian city. Some even had narrow roads with traffic jams.
