@DigitamaQueen In the manga kaido calls Yamato, his son Luffy calls Yamato, bro. But Yamato identifies as Oden specifically. Oden, who is a guy, so that's why Yamato uses he/him. There's also the interview where the author oda says Yamato is a woman. It's confusing.

@The25thNigga For the manga. The main character and the story in general feel vary generic in the beginning of the story. For the anime when it originally came out astas screaming peeked out at a incredible annoying amount of decibels. And he yells a lot so its annoying.
