Post explains the processes (and frustrations) of identifying where students were standing during the 1970 shooting. This work has helped in siting memorials to students who were wounded and killed by the National Guard. Post highlights 4 cases where conflicts in position arose.

Larsen talks about the benefits of walking, but highlights the "geographic imperative" that walking answers. Specifically through "local walking," Larsen argues that these activities can lead to a better sense of place and place attachment that helps in geographic education.
