Duxbury Police Officer Stephen Hall, 11 years on the force, wiped tears from his eyes as he described finding Lindsay Clancy’s three murdered children in the basement.

Lindsay Clancy, a labor and delivery nurse, strangled Cora (5), Dawson (3), and Callan (8 months) to death with exercise bands.

Hall paused, removed his glasses, wiped both eyes, and continued with a breaking voice.

Prosecutors say she acted deliberately: sent her husband out for takeout and medicine so she could methodically wrap the bands around each child’s neck, hold 10 pounds of pressure for six minutes, then move to the next.

Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead that night. Callan died three days later. Medical examiners confirmed they suffered physical pain. Autopsies showed petechial hemorrhages and Callan’s brain swelling so severely it pushed through his skull.

Nine first responders testified about the chaotic scene.
